Approximately 1,500 Portlanders live in Washington County, which is a really small percentage compared with over 600,000 residents in Portland overall. However, a large portion of the city is on the west side of the Willamette. In fact, Portland has many of the most dangerous intersections in the state, including the top three, with number one being one dear to many people on the Westside, the U.S. 26 and Interstate 405 interchange. That bottleneck causes nightmares for people community to and from Beaverton and Hillsboro.
