This is a small community wedged between Beaverton and Portland, and in time will likely be absorbed by both. Raleigh Hills is a bit to the north, and Progress to the west. While mostly residential, they do have a Dairy Queen and a community library to go with a Shari’s. The “main drag” is along Garden Home and Oleson roads (Oleson becomes Greenburg Road as you approach neighboring Tigard). Combined with Whitford, Garden Home is another census designated place, and had just shy of 7,000 residents as of the 2010 census.
