Russell Baldwin

Of Counsel

 

Russ joined Stevens & Legal as an Of Counsel attorney in 2026. He represents individuals and small businesses in real estate transactions, simple estate planning, business formation, and civil litigation involving personal injury, property damage, civil rights and real estate disputes.

​

He was born in Portland and graduated from Sunset High School. Russ received his J.D. from the University of Oregon, after receiving a B.A. in Psychology from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. He is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court for Oregon, and the Oregon Supreme Court.

Russ began practicing law on the central Oregon coast in 1989, where he concentrated on plaintiff’s civil litigation in the state and federal courts, including appeals. He handled cases from start to finish, including numerous jury trials.

​

Returning to Portland's Westside in 2025 where he lives with his wife in Beaverton, Russ enjoys cooking and gardening with his wife in their free time.
