If you have ever wondered around aimlessly in Western Washington County looking for picturesque landscapes, then you may have come across Roy. Not really on the way to anywhere, this small agrarian community does still have its Catholic church and school. The country store though has closed. Location wise, it is due south from the U.S. 26 interchange with Oregon 6, located along Roy Road southeast of Banks and north of Verboort, focused on Harrington Road. The old, now seldom used tracks of the Tillamook Bay Railroad run right by the old store between Hillsboro and where they end in the Coast Range.
